The Ross Creek Centre depends on friends. Our friends may give time, advice, funding and sponsorship and all are welcome at the Centre. This Centre is a wonderful example of a vision catching fire and spreading its creative flame across many communities. You can be a part of this spirit through:
becoming a member;
making a donation;
volunteering; and
partnering through sponsorships of events and programs.
Be a part of a success, and help us to continue to serve both our local and wider communities.
Become a Member
Membership is a special thing. It allows you not only a discount on all RCCA programs, but also special events with both the RCCA and Two Planks and a Passion Theatre, our sister organisation, and discounts from stores and restaurants. Becoming a member means you are a member of our umbrella organisation, the CoastArts Association, with voting rights and advance notice of special events and items of interest. You will receive a quarterly newsletter and much more.
Membership rates are $15 for an individual and $25 for a family (one vote for family membership). Please fill in this membership form and send it in with your cheque to receive your card, or email our general manager for more information at chris@artscentre.ca
Donating
Your support is essential to the ability of the Centre to serve both its country and the international community of artists to whom we are dedicated. We invite you to share in the vision of the Centre through a donation to the Capital Campaign, ensuring adequate facilities for our programs, or to the programs themselves. You can make a donation online now through CanadaHelps, mail a cheque to the Development Office of the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, 555 Ross Creek Road, Box 190, Canning, NS, B0P 1H0, Canada, or contact the Executive Director to speak about your interests and how you would like to see your donation used. Ms. Chris O’Neill can be reached via email at chris@artscentre.ca, by phone at (902) 582-3842 or by mail at the above address.
You can support our general programs, set up a scholarship, fund a specific program, the capital campaign or assist the endowment fund. We would be delighted to match your interests to our programs and ensure your support is used for the betterment of the Centre and the community its serves.
Volunteering
The Ross Creek Centre depends on volunteers at all levels. From Board members to tour guides, from junior counsellors to senior docents, there is a place for your passion at the Centre. We are also delighted to give back to our volunteers with Creek Cash – giving you discounts on programs and events. To find out more, or to become a member, please contact the Outreach Director at programs@artscentre.ca.
Partnering
Through special events such as our Summer Festival, other performances throughout the year and special events, there are ways your business can become involved with the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts. We have advertising space in event programs, the potential for banners and special booths and VIP treatment of your clients and staff. Please contact the Communications Director for more information on how you can raise your profile with the arts demographic at pr@artscentre.ca.
