Take a time out for yourself at Ross Creek. If you desperately want to take hold of a writing project, to practice music you are passionate about, or to draw, paint, or sculpt to a higher level, Ross Creek offers an individual or group studio, great food, and your own room.

Rustic accommodation is in the Centre’s cottage-style farmhouse, while in the main building a fabulous cultural library and two galleries wait to inspire you. A stroll outside in the fresh air brings you to the beautiful kitchen gardens. Further afield, fresh local food and award-winning wine, spectacular landscapes, and a university town all come together to create an amazing experience for you. We can also organize field trips to local wineries, cheese houses, museums, and our nationally acclaimed farmer’s market.

Self-directed art retreats are $625 plus HST for five days and nights.
Directed workshop weeks range from $750 - $1100 (depending on the facilitator) plus HST.

Whether you are looking to bring a new group together, to stir up an established group, or simply to spend some time away from the office learning new ways of working together, we can help. Have an unforgettable shared experience; unlock your creativity and have a blast.

Artists, rotary clubs, high school staff, groups from health care boards, and others in a creative business workshop that can have a profound impact on your group. Structure your program with separate sessions, or use our facilitator to integrate theatre or the arts right into your meetings.

Depending on your group size, we can accommodate you in the Centre’s cottage-style farmhouse, and/or the four simple bunkhouses. In the main centre, a fabulous cultural library, and two galleries wait to inspire you. A stroll outside in the fresh air brings you to the large kitchen gardens and a hike through our woods takes you to the creek.

Fresh local food and award-winning wine, spectacular landscapes, and proximity to a university town all come together to create an amazing experience for you. We can organize field trips to local wineries, cheese houses, museums, or our nationally acclaimed farmer’s market. If you want a physical challenge, we can add a trip to Blomidon Provincial Park or Cape Split for a day, with picnic lunches all provided. We can also offer morning yoga for an extra fee.

You can choose rental retreats with no facilitation, beginning at $400 plus HST for two days, or choose the Creative Retreat for your group, where we help you reach your goals through theatre and visual arts facilitation beginning at $600 for two days including all materials and facilitation. Come visit Ross Creek in the fall and spend a week cooking fresh from the garden. Spectacularly located on 178 acres, the Centre operates an organic kitchen garden and has alliances with local, award-winning wineries and organic beef farms. Our forests offer fabulous walking trails—glimpses of deer, eagles, hawks, and turtles can be a special part of the Ross Creek experience.

Spend your week creating amazing food under our chef’s supervision, being inspired  by the world’s great cuisines, exploring wine pairings, learning about local cuisine, making your own preserves or baking phenomenal breads, and touring local wineries and cheese houses.

Each day starts with a hike or yoga. (For a full celebration of relaxation and fun, you can include a request for a massage from a registered massage therapist on your registration.)

You will learn a different cuisine each day, with seasonal ingredients picked from our gardens, ethically sourced from the Bay of Fundy, the Atlantic, or from local beef farmers. You’ll have recipes and methods to take home along with great memories!

At night, the dark Ross Creek sky is a spectacular place for stargazing. Each participant will be housed in individual rooms in the Centre’s rustic, cottage-style farmhouse.

Price for a one-week culinary camp (5 days and nights) is $700 plus HST. This includes all field trips, accommodation, classes, and food.

If you want time to explore a beautiful landscape while also making some mind and soul time  for you, try Ross Creek. With our week-long self-directed programs, you can take a break to reassess and reimagine your life. You can choose to start each day with Yoga geared to your level, explore your creativity by creating your own handmade book to chronicle your adventures, hike the world-renowned Cape Split with a guide,  or simply meditate, walk through our gardens and enjoy the stars in one of the most beautiful night skies anywhere.

These days are a great breath (literally) of fresh air, fresh water and peaceful surroundings. You can choose to tour local vineyards, rockhounding sites for amythest, explore the history of the Acadians or take advantage of the local hiking trails to create your own adventure. Delicious local food and wine prepared onsite are part of your package, and rustic accomodation is in the Centre’s cottage-style farmhouse. You can then move on from Ross Creek to Brier Island and go whale watching, hiking and exploring life on a small island with our partners there.
