FULL WEEK PROGRAMS JULY 3-22 
These programs give Campers a taste of the best of camps through our talented artist instructors, new skills developed, creativity discovered and the experience of being at a great camp. While campers can come as day students, we strongly encourage the overnight program to get the full benefit of all the programs and the camp experience.

Lights! Camera! Action!...SA11-1..........July 3-8, 2011

Every year we have an amazing time! Many great films are created along with fabulous friendships! Once again we bring you the artist, the tools and the good times. Come join us for this exciting week of film making, equipment techniques and storytelling. During this week you’ll become an actor, writer, director, equipment operator and editor. Combined with our great traditional summer camp atmosphere, this week will knock your socks off! At the end of the week there will be a premiere for family and camp.

Young Architect..............SA11-1B.........July 3-8, 2011
Explore an amazing art form, one that surrounds us everyday, and open your eyes to the possiblities. Learn how to create, draw, and realise models of crazy cool buildings. Each project will be from your imagination, using real new tools and skills to make fabulous constructions. Display of drawings and models will take place for family and friends at the end of the week.

Artist Studio...................SA11-2..........July 10-15, 2011

This is a workshop is for those multidisciplinary artists who love to draw, paint and sculpt. Campers will spend the week working across many media which will help them to create a great body of work and enhance their skills as young artists. Alongside our great traditional summer camp atmosphere your new friendships will last a life time. At the end of the week there will be a camp wide art show for family and camp.

Animate!........................SA11-2B........July 10-15, 2011

Graduate to the next level of animation or learn the basics in this experimental animation program, where the story, the art and the films are your creations! For those who are interested in how to make cool animated filmsfrom start to finish with our expert animator. Films will be screened and DVDs produced at the end of the week of camp.

Passion Theatre.............. SA11-3 .........July 17-22, 2011

The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts and Two Planks & a Passion Theatre proudly bring you Passion Theatre! Taught by theatre professionals, this is a great chance to become the actor you knew you could be. Senior campers will get the best instruction in improv skills, script work, collective collaboration and auditioning techniques. Combined with our great traditional summer camp atmosphere this week will put you on the right road to becoming an actor someday, or at least having a hilarious and fabulous time. At the end of the week there will be a showing for family and camp.

Graphic Designer.............SA11-3B........July 17-22, 2011

For all our new designers that want to explore art through computers this is a great program that will immerse Senior campers into the cool world of design. With our professional designer at the Creek, campers will explore computer-based graphic design and how to use it while also examining work of the world's great designers. Alongside our great traditional summer camp atmosphere this is going to be a great week with lots of new skills learned! At the end of the week there will be a camp-wide art show for family and friends.

Day Campers $275 +HST
Overnight Campers $475 + HST

Culmination

Each one-week session ends with an Open House from 3:30 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.  The Open House features the work of both the Multi-Arts and Arts Focus programs. Parents and friends are invited to celebrate many of the finished works and works-in-progress that the children have created during the week.

Bursaries and Scholarships

We are pleased to offer full and half bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid. Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but are delighted that we are able to fund a full 10 % of all students through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools.
