March Break for Juniors (ages 5-7)

Monday - Project Earth: (Art & Environment):

Come join us for a day of environmental fun that gets all arty! In this one day workshop campers will explore the wonderful natural elements of the farm and forest at Ross Creek then learn to create environmentally friendly art from natural materials they have gathered.

Tuesday - Jungle Explorer (Animals & Plants):

Have you ever wondered what kinds of creepy-crawlies live in jungles? How about the kinds of plants or beasts that live there? Well, as it happens, we can tell you! This is going to be an awesome day filled with exploring the different jungles around the globe through the arts.

Wednesday - Fancy Face (Mask Making):

Come explore a world of masks and new identities. Allow your mask to turn you into a super hero, your favourite animal or a character of  your own imaginings. Using various materials and techniques participants will create a fun and personalised mask.

Thursday - Mighty Ocean Monsters (Legendary Sea Creatures):

Throughout our history, there have been many sea monster legends. Tales of giant octopi, lake monsters and huge sea serpents. Come to Ross Creek for the day to explore these legends and then create your own sea monster.

Friday - Winter Friends (Forest & Animals):
What happens to wildlife in the winter? Where do the animals go? Campers will spend the day exploring the forest with a nature expert, professional artist and fun camp counselors. They will follow animal foot prints, look for nests and burrows and then create very cool art.

All Day Camps are $55 each or $250 for all 5 days of fun. The Week-long Theatre camp is also $250.

REGISTER ONLINE NOW.

Expanded hours for camp! We know how hard it is to coordinate schedules, so we are making it a little easier- for the same price, we’ve giving you the gift of extra time. Camp now runs from 9 – 5, for no extra cost!

The Arts Bus runs during March Break and will travel throughout the Valley to make it easier for parents to get their children to Ross Creek. There are only 14 seats, so first come first served. Bus service is an additional $10 a day. Buses are almost full, so please call to check on bus availability.

Bursaries and Scholarships

We are pleased to offer full and half bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid. Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but are delighted that we are able to fund a full 10 % of all students through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools. Bursary applications for March Break 2009 are available by clicking here. The Deadline for submissions is February 15, 2009.
