Tuesday March 16 - Improv 2 Go! (Theatre) The funniest things will come out of your mouth without you even thinking about it- this workshop will lead young theatre lovers in a journey through the ABC’s of improvisation (the fine art of making it up as you go along). Through a series of fun games and exercises participants will learn to love the fun that is the great unknown.
Wednesday March 17 - ROBOT MADNESS! (Science and Art) Have you ever wanted to know about robots? Like, will they really take over the world? Are they are amongst us now? What can they do? Ross Creek and Acadia have joined forces to bring you ROBOT MADNESS! Come join us for an awesome day exploring the amazing world of ROBOTS!
Thursday March 19 - Gargoyle Grotesque (Art and Buildings) Gargoyles are said to be guardians of buildings. Rumoured to be a race of demons that can use their wings to fly, glide and turn to stone when ever they wish! Are they real or just decoration? Come spend the day and discover where they come from, how cool they look and design and build your own!
FridayMarch 20 - BBoy (and BGIRL!) Basics (Dance) You’ve heard about it, you’ve seen it now try it! This will be a fun and lively day spent learning all the basics of BBoy dance. You will learn how to throw down moves, how to battle and funk up your dance techniques.
All Day Camps are $55 each or $250 for all 5 days of fun. The Week-long Theatre camp is also $250. Discounts: All applications received before February 1, 2010 for March Break programs get a 5% discount, parents with a family membership to Ross Creek get 5% off and if you are a family member and sign your kids up for more than one program or sign more than one of your own children up, you get another 5% for a total of 15% possible! Bursaries and ScholarshipsWe are pleased to offer full and half bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid. Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but are delighted that we are able to fund a full 10 % of all students through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools.
