The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is a research and development centre for the arts in rural Nova Scotia. Through our programs and facilities we offer professional artists a chance to develop their work in a colony retreat, we bring together the community and professional artists through both adult and youth programs and we work with Aboriginal communities and artists to create new opportunities for learning about and through the arts and culture of Canada’s First Peoples. It is a magical place where creativity and wonder are ever present. Welcome home.

Youth Programs Welcome to a fabulous series of arts programs designed to inspire your child or teen in theatre, music, dance, visual arts, craft, writing, film and architecture. All programs are taught by professional artists who are wonderful educators, and they are designed to ensure your child has a fabulous time while developing new skills and increasing self-awareness and confidence. With multidisciplinary theme day camps for kids from 5-7 and day and overnight camps for ages 8-13, all in our new cabins overlooking the Bay of Fundy. We provide the best of camp and the best of the Arts for memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Art Academies for teens over 14 provide the next level, masterclasses kids from across Canada and around the world. Ross Creek is the centre for young artists. |

Adult ProgramsWelcome to a new adventure in expressing yourself. Designed to give a wide range of disciplines, The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts has designed a series of programs to allow adults the chance to explore a variety of artistic disciplines either as beginners or advanced amateurs, all with professional artists who love to share what they know. Professional Artist ProgramsThe Ross Creek Centre for the Arts offers a unique colony experience in rural Nova Scotia, only a 2-hour flight from New York, and 4 hours from London. Our professional programs incldue both retreats and resiencies, along with masterclasses and Open Studio weeks. The multidisciplinary colony is designed for both individual and collaborative artists, with spectacular performing arts and individual studio facilities and a charming farmhouse for accommodation. We provide administrative support to visiting artists from around the world and allow the chance to develop new work while meeting with other colonists from across the country and around the world in a very special environment.
