January 13, 2013 – Come to India and Pakistan!

Inspired by the work of our gallery artist, Tazeen Qayyum, a Pakistani-Canadian contemporary artist, we invite you to a full afternoon celebration of the magic of art and food of the subcontinent! With art activities all based on techniques and themes from ancient India and Pakistan, delicious samples of food and music and film all taking you out of the January cold into the beautiful heat of  South Asia.
Because we will have limited supplies, this month admission is $5 per person, or $15 per family and preregistration is suggested but not required. Food items are only $1 to $3. Last year’s Chinese New Year celebration sold out, so we do advise you to sign up early if you can.
Cream Tea
This month, our cream tea is inspired by chai! We have invigorated the fancy afternoon tea at Ross Creek! Come enjoy freshly baked items, and assorted delicious chai, beginning at 1:00 pm. For directions, click here.
