Ages 11-16
At Ross Creek we provide an amazing art day taught by professional artists and a great camp experience for kids on our 178 acres of field and forest, led by our fabulous counsellors. Whether creating a masterpiece or making new friends, our camps have something for every teen! We offer programs in dance, theatre, music and art. Kids can come for a day or for the whole week of adventure and art.

MONDAY, March 12
VISUAL ARTS STUDIO Quick-start your creativity and gain mad new artistic skills through this one day exploration of a variety of arts media and techniques. Instructor: Ian Funke-McKay TUESDAY, March 13 THEATRE STUDIO Learn to create character through movement, improvisation and collaboration. Taught by acclaimed theatre director and educator Ken Schwartz, this workshop is sure to be hilarious and fun! Instructor: Ken Schwartz WEDNESDAY, March 14 WRITING STUDIO Hone your skills, develop your voice, create characters, build worlds, and fill your notebook with poetry and prose! Instructor: Ken Schwartz THURSDAY, March 15 MUSICAL MAYHEM! STUDIO Explore the world of songwriting and singing, playing instruments, and using our sound sculptures to create amazing music! BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) if you have one! Instructor: Kim Barlow FRIDAY, March 16 URBAN ART STUDIO Urban meets rural in this popular workshop! Week-Long Visual Arts Studio Monday, March 12 - Friday March 16 ages 11-16 This week-long workshop gives emerging young artists the opportunity to explore their creativity and artistic skills through work in a variety of media and techniques. How much does camp cost?
All single day camps are $65 each, or $295 for all five days!
We offer payment plans and bursaries for families in need.
What Time does camp run?
Camp runs from 9 – 5, and lunch and snacks are provided.
How About Lunch?
We make homemade delicious and kid-friendly food - from Ross Creek's own Mac n' Cheese to DIY wraps and Delicious soups and salads, we know how to make awesome things kids will eat! We also offer fresh fruit and veggies for a mid morning snack and there is an optional afternoon tuck shop ($1/ item) serving fresh homemade cookies, squares and other treats. We are peanut free facility and are pleased to cater for allergies.
Arts Bus
The Arts Bus runs during March Break and will travel throughout the Valley to make it easier for parents to get their children to Ross Creek. There are only 8 seats, so first come first served. Bus service is an additional $15 a day, regardless of whether taken both ways. Bus fills fast, so please call to check on bus availability.
Bursaries and Scholarships
We are pleased to offer full and half bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid. Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but try to assist as many children and families as we can through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools.
