Canadian Families: all of our camps and programs are now eligible for the Canadian Arts Tax Credit!  We provide a receipt, and for each child, you can claim up to $500 per year!

Overnight Tryouts! If you have a junior 7-8 years old who is thinking about overnight camp in the future, they can come try it out for a night! For $40 plus tax, they can come and stay on Thursday night for campfire (campfire? we LOVE campfire!) and cabin, being picked up when you see the show on Friday. A great way  to start your little one in the best traditions of overnight camping!

We know that eight year olds can be in different places, so we welcome you to decide what program is best for them. However if they are in the junior program, we suggest they are only day students.

This Multi-Arts program challenges children to use their imaginations to explore the world through Visual Art, Music, Creative Movement and Drama. Each week the program will revolve around a cool theme so children have the opportunity to learn how to work cooperatively and collaborate in the arts. At the end of each week, the children share their work with a gallery and performance for friends and family at 2:30. Click here to register.

Single Day Programs

We are pleased to offer two great single day programs to welcome you to Ross Creek. Combining science, art, and our natural surroundings, these programs will inspire and engage your child!

Thursday 2nd of July:

Under the Sea. (Science & Art)

Join us for the day and learn all about the wonderful world  under the water. We’ll learn about the mammals that visit the Bay of Fundy from the small whales to the biggest! Kids will create their own whales through art and sculpture and learn all about how these beautiful creatures live and where they go.

Friday 3rd of July:

Bees and Bats! (Science & Art)

They sting, they buzz and they swoosh! Come and spend the day learning and making art around three of the coolest flying creatures in Nova Scotia. We’ll learn how honey bees make honey, what bats like to eat and how they fly and how we can help them!  We’ll visit our hives, paint,  play and have a blast learning how to love (and save) these flying creatures.

Full Week Programs

Our junior programs explore the theme through theatre, dance, music and art, ending in a final performance and gallery of the campers’ work.

July 6-10

Earth: This week is an adventure from the ground up! Campers will spend the week exploring the magnificent earth, including what lives in it, how things grow and how to make art on and from it! This week will cover science, visual art, theatre, and fun.

July 13-17

Water: Come spend the week with us exploring the beauty and power of water. Campers will investigate the world of water at Ross Creek, have an expedition to our ponds and see what creatures live in and on the water. This camp uses stories, science, visual art and music to discover the wonderful world of water.

July 20-24

Air: During this week we will move with the wind, smell all the flowers and create wonderful art inspired by the air around us. We will explore kites, balloons, bubbles and sails! Using science, painting, sound and more, this week is going to be all about awesome air!

July 27-August 1
