A perfect way to keep the kids creative over March Break!
Monday — Dragon Masters
Explore the powers and legends of dragons! Stories and art work from around the globe will inspire campers to create their own magical dragons!
Tuesday — Birds of a Feather
Your child will spend the day exploring the beautiful, feathery world of birds through stories and art. Then, inspired by our surroundings and of course our very own Creekster Bird, they’ll get to create their own mash-up bird from their imaginations.
Wednesday — Mighty Ocean Monsters
There are many myths and legends of the creatures that dwell on the bottom of the sea. Tales of giant octopi, lake monsters, and huge sea serpents have thrilled children for generations. We’ll explore these legends, and campers will create their own sea monster stories and art!
Thursday — Project Earth
Come join us for a day of art inspired by our environment and beautiful landscape. Campers will explore the forest and fields of the centre with an artist, and gather natural materials that inspire them to create amazing art!
Friday — Animal Safari
The Animal Kingdom comes alive at Ross Creek this March Break! Inspired by stories from around the world, kids will love creating artwork based on colour and texture. Guided to seeing and understanding animals in different ways, campers will create collage creatures and their own stories!

Arts Bus
The Arts Bus runs during March Break and will travel throughout the Valley to make it easier for parents to get their children to Ross Creek. There are only 14 seats, so first come first served. Bus service is an additional $10 a day, regardless of whether taken both ways. It is supported by O’Regan’s, Clean Nova Scotia and Michelin.
Bus fills fast, so please call to check on bus availability.
Bursaries and Scholarships
We are pleased to offer full and half bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid. Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but try to assist as many children and families as we can through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools. Bursary applications for March Break are available by clicking here. The Deadline for submissions is January 1.
