Ross Creek Garden and kitchen thriving thanks to community

At Ross Creek we work hard to serve and promote local food. We are delighted that our own organic vegetable gardens are providing great food and activities for the kids at camp and that we have a new partnership with Speerville Flour Mills to use organic flours, oils and other foods whenever possible. This is made possible through generous donations including some from the individuals and businesses at bottom. We encourage you to support them in turn and let them know we sent you!

The gardens at Ross Creek are growing, thanks to the support of the of the YMCA and HRSDC who have supported interns to work the land and work with the kids in camp.

We are designing the gardens (over the next few years) to become a potager - kitchen garden which has a strong geometric element, producing our food while also being aesthetically intersting and reflective of the community we serve and the land we come from.

During the summer season we operate tours on Sundays before the Two Planks and a Passion Theatre presentations.
